Day 1: Marrakech --> Ouarzazate --> Zagora
On your first day, your driver will pick you up from your Marrakech accommodation around 7:30 AM. We’ll drive through the High Atlas Mountains over the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, reaching 2,260 meters above sea level. We’ll make several stops to stretch our legs and capture the breathtaking landscapes. In Ouarzazate, visit the Kasbah Taourirt and enjoy lunch. Continue to Zagora via the scenic Draa Valley, known for its palm trees, cornfields, barley, vegetables, and henna plantations. Overnight stay in Zagora.
Day 2: Zagora --> Tazarine --> Merzouga
After breakfast, cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains and admire the unique landscapes. We’ll stop frequently to take in the scenery before reaching the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. Enjoy a camel trek in the evening to an oasis, witness a spectacular Sahara sunset, and spend the night at a luxury desert camp. Enjoy dinner around a campfire, listen to traditional Berber music, and gaze at the star-filled sky. Overnight in the luxury Sahara desert camp.
Day 3: Merzouga --> Erfoud --> Tinjdad --> Todra Gorges
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes and have breakfast at your luxury camp. Depart for Todra Gorges, stopping in Erfoud to visit the Museum of Fossils and Minerals. After lunch in Tinjdad, continue your journey through Berber villages and towns, and see the traditional underground irrigation system known as khettara. Arrive at Todra Gorges for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Todra Gorges --> Dades Valley --> Ait Ben Haddou --> Marrakech
After breakfast, head to Dades Valley and the Valley of 1000 Kasbahs, passing through lush fields and orchards. Visit the Rose Valley, renowned for its rose water used in beauty products and its annual Rose Festival. Stop at Amridil Kasbah, built in the 17th century, and cross the palm groves of Skoura. Continue to Ouarzazate, then to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou for a guided tour and lunch. Finally, drive over the High Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech.
